5 weeks, once a week, 18:00 - 20:15

Total Mindfulness applied at the wheel: mix-levels class, good for all, beginners and advanced. You will learn about your breath and your body-awareness, while studying the 3 main techniques at the wheel. Lau’s unique approach: mindfulness + method. The advantages: no time wasted at wedging the clay each session, learning to throw final pieces without trimming, and 1or 2 recoup-sessions offered per course for more flexibility.

In English, French en een beetje NLs: a morning Mix-levels class, good for all, beginners and advanced. You will learn the 3 main techniques at the wheel, with Lau’s unique and simplified method using mindfulness + intuition. The advantages: no time wasted at wedging the clay each session, learning to throw final pieces without trimming. 'OneDay WHEEL'

1 day (10:00 - 13:00), 2 techniques

Do you want to give it a go? Great introduction workshop to wheel-throwing, ideal for novice & beginners to get a good taste, and fun for intermediate throwers to get refreshed. Lau is sharing with you his unique approach of 2 basics: the Plate & the Bowl or the Cylinder, with some method + mindfulness (all dishwasher safe).
Ready for you at the studio: Aprons + Hand-towels & Snacks + Drinks, all inclusive.

'Day-Studio'

You can use the Clay-studio and/or the Mindfulness-studio during 10:00 - 13:00 or 13:00 - 16:00, available from Tuesday to Saturday

Enjoy a window of up to 3 hours, creating with clay at your own rhythm, in total freedom: either at the wheel, handbuilding or glazing, or going through the various stations of the Mindfulness-Studio (try the cocoon, the zen-garden or the Tao painting).
The minimum skills are required (great if you already have followed 1 class with Laurent) as you’ll be on your own, either you’re visiting Amsterdam, or simply want some alone-practice. This is an ideal creative and mindful experience, with a combination of calm, joy and inner-presence. Silent studio policy required. Your final pieces can be kept, bisque-fired and glaze-fired at extra costs discussed with Lau directly.

'Private session with a friend, your favourite person in the world or your Mother-in-law'. (Trio also possible + €125)

1x Couple session of 1h30min at the wheel, with a focus on ‘Plate – Cylinder – Bowl’.
You will get introduced to Lau’s special technique developed for adults – with Mindfulness & Breathwork, and he will glaze the pieces for you after the workshop (1 piece each, great memory to enjoy at home afterwards).
